Comments: This work was kind of experimental, trying out several things at once. I had become interested in some of the pattern making used in Islamic art and tried some out in the boarder. I was also playing with some irregular contour shapes forming a kind of river valley, but then added the kind of amorphous blue cloud with pink spheres that kind of reaches across the page. I confess I've never been quite sure what to make of this one. It has a nice decorative quality and yet is a touch surreal.
