Comments: Like some of the other drawings in this series this began as a playful series of shapes where I tried making a family of related shapes that were all very different. To this I started adding a progressive series of wavy lines that culminated in an egg. It seemed to suggest something about fertility and chromosomes although that was not a conscious thought when I sat down to create the image.
