Comments: This work is kind of a rare light piece for me. There was another in a similar vein that also had a kind of musical theme to it although a touch more minimalistic as I recall. This one was based on a geometric analysis of a thirteenth century temple that used some square root of two geometry to layout the star shaped sanctuaries and the compound as a whole. I then added a geometric pattern around the border based on eight pointed stars (which are also related to the square root of two).
