Comments: While oil pastels tended to obscure the underlying geometry of many of my mandalas, in this work I tried to build on and amplify some aspects of the geometry. Someone had also recently shown me the technique illustrators use when illustrating gemstones so I built on that, extending the central "crystal" into a larger field of spheres, grids and lines of force.
