Comments: This (slightly out of focus scan) is of one of the few images I created on commission. Someone liked my work but wanted something done in particular colors. At about this same time I had been practicing geometric methods of constructing the five platonic solids and was playing with the idea that these shapes could be draw as if in compression (with straight lines) or in tension (with curved lines as if stretch over a balloon, resisting outward expansive forces). I liked the design so much I created an additional version/copy for myself about 1/3 the size of the first but in doing so I am afraid I offended the person who commissioned the first version.
