Comments: Every time I buy a box of colored pencils I use up the reds and blues first and am left with dozens of browns. My color selection here actually began as an effort to use up some of the left over colors in my pencil boxes. This particular image was exploring a kind of volumetric bone like form. I ended up inverting the color in photoshop and making it into the background tile pattern on the main pastel/spacial studies page.
